Rejoice!

For today is Saint Pandwyna’s day.  She was a holy virgin who fled her home to escape deflowerment, as it was known in the days before the ‘hook-up’ culture arrived. Here is her church at Eltisley, near Saint Neots in Cambridgeshire, where her remains were reburied in 1344.
